Yes. The interactive demo has four example conditions: last observation, another drawer, partly hidden and out of view. It uses simulated records and does not connect to your camera or AI accounts.

An image cannot reliably establish what is behind an opaque container or hidden under another object. Exact counts, hidden specifications, battery condition and compatibility need their own evidence.

It names a place and time from an observation. It does not guarantee the item is still there. Check the record’s age and supporting image, especially when contents have moved.

A missed change can leave an old record; a mistaken identification can point to the wrong object. Check the time and supporting image before relying on an answer. Measured error rates and the hardware correction workflow are not established here.

Capture timing, image retention and hardware access controls must be confirmed for the kit you purchase. Agree the camera’s view with everyone who shares the space. Do not assume continuous recording or private, local-only storage from the illustrations.

A drawer observation does not identify a borrower or prove a handover. Use an agreed checkout process when borrower accountability is the job.

That is the key trade-off to check. Capture only helps if setup, charging and correcting records take less effort than your current method. We do not have a published long-term comparison showing lower upkeep.

The aim is to capture drawer observations rather than rely on a manually updated list. The actual capture and correction process needs to be confirmed with the hardware. The website demo does not measure automatic capture.

Useful coverage still depends on where things are stored and whether they remain visible. If shared items regularly end up outside the covered drawers, a drawer record may not answer the household’s main question.

A last-seen image is not a complete stock ledger or checkout system. Exact quantities, expiry dates and borrower records need their own reliable data. Choose a dedicated inventory or checkout tool when that is the job.
