Starting the next build
Check the last observation of your probe, adapter or precision screwdriver before opening the parts boxes.
DRAWERSENSE / BACK TO THE BUILD
The probe from your last repair. The cable for the board on your desk. Give the useful little parts of your project a place to start looking.

Where did I put the test leads?
Check the drawer and observation time.A LITTLE CONTEXT FOR YOUR EVERYDAY
For an electronics bench, a useful last-seen record identifies a visible tool or accessory, the drawer it was observed in and the time of the observation. DrawerSense focuses on that retrieval job. Resistor values, connector pinouts, electrical ratings and exact component counts still need labels, measurements or a component inventory.
Check the last observation of your probe, adapter or precision screwdriver before opening the parts boxes.
Use the named drawer and image to reconnect with the accessories you put away after the last project.
Separate visible tools from bags of components. Label bins by value or specification when appearance cannot distinguish their contents.
START WITH TWO DRAWERS
Give the things you return to a clear home and a useful record.
Product, fit & connectionsTHE PRACTICAL DETAILS
A drawer image cannot reliably establish markings hidden by overlap, exact values or how many components are inside a bag. Use labelled bins and a parts inventory for those tasks.
An inventory app can hold stock levels, part numbers and specifications when those records are maintained. A DrawerSense last-seen record is intended to help you start looking for a visible object. The comparison page explains the tradeoff.
OpenClaw, API and MCP connections to DrawerSense observations are not currently available. The website demo uses simulated records and works independently of your project tools.
Practical organisation
A simple cable-drawer system: separate by job, label important specifications and keep frequently used adapters visible.
